UCC table tennis is populated by a mix of some of Ireland’s top ranked players and enthusiastic beginners and a strong international contingent, making it suitable for anyone to come by, pick up a bat and get playing.

We train twice a week with one of Ireland’s top coaches and there is always a wide variety of players looking to practice or just have fun. Our training times are available on our calendar and no matter what your skill level table tennis has a spot for you.

The main competition the club focuses on throughout the year is the intervarsity competition and intervarsity league, where the club has done outstandingly well over the last couple of years including winning the interversity league a few years ago.

Every year brings an exciting new challenge to the table in forming a competitive team from a multinational group of players, both old and new. For beginners, we also set up a weekly table tennis charity league which helps beginners learn the rules of the game and let them get a taste of the competitive side of table tennis. Equipment will be provided for beginners so just show up at any of our training times and we will get you on a table!
